Bullet casting Machine...a long journey ahead!

I've been planning this thing for a while but design and output is something I couldn't settle on. Finally decided to make it adaptable and expandable for more molds.

I was also saving for a nice Pot with a PID and a 90 lb. Capacity. Once I decided to go another route on the pot I decided to get started on the machine. It's a rotary casting machine that will utilize 2 molds to start and maybe expand to 3 or 4 later. For now 2 should do.

I also need to make a hood for ventilation and a fan to draw the fumes from the pot. Also a sturdy table for that station.

The casting machine is a part of a series of builds that I have planned to increase production and make it easier too. Among those is using a full size oven for baking powder coated bullets. I have that in the basement and on a trial run I baked 750 rounds in 20 minutes using just one rack and some cookie sheets. The oven vent on the left back corner and I ran an exhaust for it with a fan hookup.

Also coming in the builds is a bullet sizing machine that will be manual to begin with as far as the sizing action goes.

Final thing is an automatic bullet collator to fill tubes for the bullet sizer. So this is just the beginning and I thought I would share some of the journey.

Design is similar to this

Wow. You are going to be rolling in the bullets now. Are you going to compete, or are you going to be a vendor?
