New Competitive Shooting Discipline?
What if a new match was established to see who shoots the best "area fire?"
It's a good thing for military situations when you want to spread the bullets around a large area. Two categories would be used; bolt action and semiautomatic rifles plus a two-gun aggregate with one of each. Rifles would be fired from a fixed mount unmoved by human intervention. There would be 10, 20 and 50 shot rapid fire matches. Whoever shot all their bullets into the largest group would win. |

This sounds like what is a common place occurrence at our local range, whenever someone shows up with a new AR or AK.
