most reliable AUTO LOADING HD 12 ga shotgun? 20 gauge?
im looking into an auto loading hd shotgun for myself which can be 12 ga but would like to know if the 20 ga. buckshot have good ballistics and reduced recoil for several woman folk i know.
i have shot an 870 in 20 ga. and didn't find it had less recoil than a 12 ga. but that was pump action. i have 2 12 ga 870s and 3 mossberg 500s. i have messed up the pumping cycle while hunting before and question if that would happen in a hd situation. |

I'd get a Saiga 20ga, break it in, and tune it to work reliably with my HD ammo of choice. Darn... why'd I sell my S-20?!? Oh yeah... I needed the money.

RE: Tuning a S-20...
What I really mean is break it in and choose a high brass round that cycles reliably on one of the two gas settings. I guess that's not really tuning it. |
