Stripping Semi Auto Shotgun Forend
I am having to strip & re-finish the wood stocks on my Benelli Montefeltro. My question is about the forend, specifically the inside of the fore-end.
First, do you attempt to strip the finish from the inside of the fore-end? It likely has a poly finish & I will be using pure uncut Tung oil. The interior is not smooth & well sanded to begin with. If you should strip & re-finish the interior of the fore-end, how do you strip the inside in that tight of a space? What tools are available to help the stripper to remove the finish? Thank you very much. |

No, just leave the interior alone, and do the outside, and any edges that wrap around to the inside, (anything that shows).
