H&R Model 400

I have an H&R Model 400 pump shotgun. I believe it is made by another manufacturer, but I can't seem to find the info. Any expertise any members can lend would be appreciated.

not an expert but had a H&R Model 400 pump pass through my hands awhile back and it was made by Harrington & Richardson which is now out of business. if memory serves correct Harrington & Richardson made these pumps back in late 50's to 60's.

New England Firearms which sells guns under H&R name is not affiliated with old Harrington & Richardson company.
