three gun ammo ?

what is a good load for shooting a three gun match for my 45 acp ? i currently practice with 230 fmj. at what ranges should i practice from ? just needing some rough ideas. thanks.

Really depends on how your club runs things. I would wager 15-20 yards should be fine. Most stages I have shot have been

Honestly, assuming this is your first match I wouldn't worry about doing well, just go shoot the match, be safe, learn how things are run, and have fun.

Yes, 15-20 yds is the typical max for 3-gun, however, know your elevation to 50 yds because every once in a while there is a "test".

USMC Pistol Qualification: 7, 15, and 25 yards. 7 and 15 are rapid (and mostly DA) and the 25 is SA slow fire.
