Tube or open-style red dot question
Which of these is best for .22lr bullseye competition? Christmas is fast approaching and I need advice. I've handled various Bushnell red dots, but the idea of a light weight open-style, or holographic red dot is tempting. Any thoughts?

For just bullseye matches, my vote goes to the tube scopes.
They are easier to aim, due to the length and having something to sight through. For other types of competition, it probably doesn't matter which one is chosen. They all take some getting used to.
