Need more visible/larger sights on CZ 75 compact
My eyes have trouble picking up the sights on my CZ compact, I want to send it out and have larger sights installed. I don't necessarily want night sights just bigger. Any suggestions on a custom shop?

Cajun Gun Works is certainly an option and they have a number of options.

Yes, Cajun Gun Works. Dawson Precision fiber optic sights, just be aware there are different sight heights that affect bullet impact point.

I was thinking about Cajun, but I don't want a whole package, just sights. Don't like fiber optics.

I'm fairly certain you could just send them your slide for a sight install, but call and ask as they are rather busy and I'm not sure the turnaround. They do have night sights as well that would be more visible than the stock sights even in daylight. If you have a particular set of sights you want it might be good to buy those first and then send them with the pistol. The other option is to find a local smith that can do the install. It's not an overly complicated process.

If you don't want night sights and don't like fiber optics, why not just try some florescent enamel on your current sights. It will only cost a few dollars.

Cajun Gun Works is the best I have ever used for CZ work. Just ask them what they can do for you and I'll bet they can hook you up.

puppyface,
I would estimate we do around 60 slides a month for sights only. We don't force packages or parts on anyone. |

I will say that having done business with CGW multiples times and David even being kind enough to walk me through things on the phone, I think their CS is some of the best.

You may not necessarily need larger sights, just better designed ones.
Maybe like a rear sight that allows seeing the front sight better. A wider notch in the rear sight can accomplish that without going to a bigger one. It allows more visible light around the front sight and makes it stand out better, even if both sights are black. Just a thought.
