Good place to get jacketed bullets?

Hey guys,

Anyone know a good source for decent, cheap, plinking/target jacketed bullets? Mostly looking for 44 mag/spec bullets... most ideal thing so far I've found is the Magtech bullets over at Midway. They're $7.99/100 or $77.99/1000. Anyone have experience with these bullets?

Mag Tec

Hey,
Funny I just shot about 36 of the first 50, 44 mag bullets that I ever loaded.
I loaded them up with Blue Dot on the light side.
I didn't even but a crimp on the bullets. The blue Dot seem to me to be a little smokie to me.I didn't even know about putting a crimp on hand gun bullets untill after they were all loaded.
They all shot great, light recoil from my 7 1/2 Red Hawk.
I would load more if I had some, good bullets.
But like I said these were the first handgun bullets that I've loaded up.
Hope this helps

Magtech bullets

I ordered the first batch from Midway, and liked them so I went to order some more. I found that Cabela's is a little cheaper on the bullets, and A LOT cheaper on the shipping. Just ordered 500 240g JSP and 500 lead magtech bullets.

I wish Midway USA would use the flat rate shipping that Cabela's does, I like their website a lot more then the others.

Cool, I forgot Cabela's sells reloading supplies. While over there I saw Berry's bullets as well... the price is right on them for a plated plinking bullet, does anyone have experience with these?

Check Midsouth Shooter's Supply for pricing. They carry a different brand cast bullet, but less expensive.
