Lube .455 Remington bullets?

I just got a batch of Remington brand swaged lead bullets, 250 grains, .455 caliber, for loading in my Mk V Webley. The gun has been "shaved" to accept .45 ACP ammo, so my plan is to load the above bullets in .45 Auto Rim brass. My question is, do these bullets need to be lubed? They came with a flaky, patchy, kinda powdery dark gray substance all over them -- I don't know what it is, though a couple of references I've read suggest it might be moly of some sort -- so I'm just plain confused. Does anyone have experience with these particular bullets, or informed ideas about how I should proceed? Thanks.

That is the lube. Load 'em and shoot 'em. Never had a problem with 'em atall.
