For your viewing pleasure-A finished 1903a3

Well after many starts and stops, I finally finished my 1903a3 project:
(yes i have to put the stock reinforcing bolts in once they come in but that doesn't count )

Good job. Do get the sling, either a new one or a used military at a gun show.

Sell the old sporter stock, recoup a couple of bucks !

The sling was a new one
I was thinking about getting a barreled action and making a shooter.

Your shooter's right there in the photos. If it headspaces and there's nothing unsafe about it, you're not going to hurt that old gal. Enjoy it.

Chris B - I shot it when it was in the "sporterized" condition and it shot fine.
