Sauer 38H Late War

Here's a very late war Sauer with wood grips, first one I've seen with factory wood, I didn't even know they made them that way!

I've seen a couple with factory wood.

Supposedly there were some made in .380 ACP...

WW II Liberator for sale...

I'm in Pennsylvania (Lewistown) and was going through the Daily Astonisher birdcage liner when a military firearms auction caught my eye.

Lots of fun, but common, stuff up for auction, some not so common stuff, and one notation that really stood out -- WW II Liberator, with box.

Don't see too many of those being offered for auction...

Oh yeah, if anyone is interested, the auction is being held today at the Mifflin County Youth Park in Reedsville.

Most of those tin guns go for way more than I'm willing to pay, I prefer a real gun when I pay $1000 for it!

Crap, that Liberator note was supposed to be in a new thread.

I need to contact the auctioneer and see what it brought.

I'll be interested in seeing what someone paid for it...

Liberator with box a bit unusual.

Pretty Sauer John.
