Desantis holster.

I got a desantis thumb break scabbard for christmas and I will be using it some of carry. The biggest reason it was given to me is I want to be a police officer and my family knew I would need a holster with a thumb break. That being said, doe people usually use a holster with a thumbreak for cc? I know I have to wear a jacket or a long shirt in order to conceal it, but is anyone strongly agains a thumbreak?
Thanks,
Mike

Not me.

I have three Desantis hostlers with thumb breaks. They work fine for ccw. I use them for revolver and semi carry. They are very good as far as keeping the pistol in close to your side. But I have also had good luck with low cost Black Hawk nylon holsters. I am currently using one to carry my G36 and it works just fine. In this case not thumb break just a strap with snap.
