Nassau County Assistant DA's prohibited from handgun ownership
Another great RKBA analysis from the Volokh Conspiracy discusses a Nassau County, New York policy that prohibits its Assistant District Attorneys from owning or possessing a handgun while employed by the DA.
Clearly, the citizens of Nassau County will be protected from the scourge of crime related to gun-toting Assistant DAs, long a well-recognized source of crime and violence in New York Initially, it looks like the law may actually violate New York Labor Laws, to say nothing of offering a meaty bite for someone looking for a good Second Amendment case. |
