Just Right Carbine. I've had mine for a couple years now and it's a keeper. Takes Glock mags, in 9mm and I've converted it to the takedown model.

I kind of like the old Marlin Camp carbines.
The .45s have gotten pricey, but the 9mm version isn't yet.
Might make a good investment, and it takes S&W pistol magazines.
But then I kind of like wood and steel.
Subdued looks that doesn't attract unwanted attention.
Like fast cars that don't look fast or attract tickets.

Mine is a 30 Carbine which is about as powerful as a .357 Magnum (roughly). I do have my eyes open for a 40 caliber Keltec. I also have a Marlin .357 but I don't think it is a real PCC since it is slow to load. The Keltec has a clever design.

.30 Carbines are not PCCs, .357 Magnum IS a PCC.

Looks like a fun match.

I'd say the 30 carbine is on the cusp. There are pistols chambered for this but they are loud as hell. I'd like to try to use mine in Steel matches but not allowed.

The problem is the steel for .30 Carbine.

With AR500, you can safely shoot .30 Carbine at about 25 yards without an issue. But, few clubs have AR500 for use with pistol. AR400 or lessor will pit, curve and get torn up with most pistol rated steel. Since it was originally intended for a carbine, and not a pistol, there is not a lot of push-back on it.

I really like the .30 Carbine. I have one and I have shot Limited in 3Gun with it a few times. Was the first centerfire rifle my boys shot as they advanced through their firearms training. A major manufacturer has an interest in pushing the .30 Carbine and it looks like I may again get volunteered to run some sort of match for it.

Well, I shot the PSA AR-9 today, just to check functionality. I only fired about 10 rounds because the windchill is in the teens and I'm not Nutnfancy or anything. It worked. Can't wait to dump some mags and see if it can handle it.
