Sights for Citadel 1911 3.5"
Just picked this little gun up last week and went shooting today. Very nice, had one hickup in the first 10 rounds, for the next 60 rounds with all three magazines it worked just like it should. I really like this gun.... It is my first 1911 and hope that it does not spoil me for only 1911's. It sure was a sweet shooting gun.
My question is (Yes I did a search) where could I get some night sights for this little gun?? I know you guy, gals will point me in the right direction. |

Citadel 1911 night sights.
Trijicon -Colt sights should work. Call CS to verify before buying.
The thing is, you are going to need a sight pusher tool to remove the front sight and reinstall and align the new night sights. Your gun shop may be able to do this without scratching your pistol but you won't unless you have a universal tool. Trijicon and I believe Meprolight can factory install the sights but you will need to send them your slide. http://www.trijicon.com/user/parts/p...categoryID=7#3

The Citadel 1911's are the same Armscors that used to be imported under the Charles Daly brand, and they use a proprietary sight cut. Sights with a Novak cut can be modified to work, but it will take some fitting.

Novak does make night sights.
The Novak style is kind of a generic term for the style of the sight. The Novak "style" rear sight is pushed to the rear. All of the leading night sight manufacturers make Novak sights under their own names. http://www.novaksights.com/products/sights/index.html If you choose Novak they can also install your sights.
