.32 SW Long reload Info Needed
I have recently been gifted a .32 SW Long H&R 733 4 ich barrel revolver. I live in MA where internet sales of ammo is prohibited so I can't take advanage of
deals offered on the net. Currently I have a local gun shop order me Aquilla .32 at 9.99 for 50. I am considering reloading but need a source of cheaply cast .32 bullets. Don't think I would consider casting as i a disabilties that requires a considerate amount of my time in treatment. Called the gun shop yesterday to order more ammo and he told me to try in a couple weeks as his distributor is out Anybody want to share cheap sources/methods of reloading this calibre? Thanks |

Will your Masters allow you to order bullets?
Can you find powder and primers locally? (Hazmat shipping fees on ordering them will run up the cost considerably.) Midway is a good source of reloading equipment. You need a manual. Since Lee equipment is the least expensive, just as well get the Lee book at least to start. http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpag...eitemid=484416 A Lee Challenger press http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpag...eitemid=354021 The press includes a priming tool. You won't need the case lube for a straight pistol cartridge loaded with carbide dies. Lee dies http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpag...eitemid=744834 The dieset includes a powder dipper and a charge table. Bullets http://www.midwayusa.com/ebrowse.exe...*675***9015*** The .313" - .314" bullets of 90-100 grains are correct. The 71 grain bullets are for .32 ACP, the heavier ones are for .32-20. There are a lot of other gadgets and gimmicks that will speed and improve the operation but these will get you started. |

Thanks for the sources. I have a local shop that has the powder, primer and bullets. His cost for bullets are too high. The Lee hand press and three set
die's are what I will be ordering from Midway. Seen 1,000 bullets for about $45.00 with free freight (Barry's). Don't know if I can improve upon this. I going to keep looking. |
