I once tried a rental PK380 at a local range and it wouldn't get through a single mag without at least one FTE- sometimes two or three. The range manager told me that the pistol had been on the line for less than 3 weeks and had only been rented a handful of times. The extractor and ejector seemed functional and undamaged, and the pistol would cycle dummy rounds perfectly by hand.

I was NOT overly impressed.

I suggest calling whomever is performing warranty service on these pistols now; not sure if it's S&W or Walther, now that the two entities have split.

I owned one for a couple of years. Not one problem. However I wanted a pocket gun so I traded it in. Soft shooting and easy to rack. Good gun. I should have kept it.
