Might have broke Remington 870 HELP!!!
Hey I tried eliminating an old camo finish with paint thinner and got some in the firing pin tube and may have destroyed the firing pin. Anyone ever do this before? Did your pin break? I'll probably get another one regardless just to be safe. Anyone accidentally scratch their gun with sandpaper like a fool trying to chip paint off? Any assistance would be awesome and greatly appreciated. I plan on adding another finish to it and re-camoing it. Also does anyone know how to remove the firing pin from the gun? I got it at a gun show and the manual only shows the schematics but doesnt actually tell you how to do it. Thank you all so much!

You can get a DVD from AGI at either their website or midwayusa.com that will walk you through your 870 step by step your firing pin should be fine I would flush it with some thinner in case any paint dried in there then shoot a little Remoil in there.
