VZ-12/33 disaasembly question

This rifle was probably store in a bayou but I want to bring it back to wall hanger status. I have most of the rifle's screws and band springs off or popped but the front band is giving me grief.

Unlike my VZ-24, the VZ-12/33 uses a retention screw through the band and stock to hold it in place. I removed the screw but the band won't budge. Anyone care to hazard a guess as to whether I've missed some fastener or if it might hust be welded in place over time? Thanks!
