45 caliber cowboy ammo.

Is the powder in this ammo. as corrosive as the black powder subs.

you should still clean after every shoot but all it takes is a wipe down and a pass or two down the barrel

there are many different types of cowboy ammo. read the box, some are black powder or bp substitutes. take nothing for granted, clean your gun accordingly.

If you are using Winchester or Ultramax "Cowboy" ammo they are reduced smokeless loads. Usually, if the ammo contains Pyrodex, it will say on the box, but you don't normally find these loads on a store shelf.
