That's a big cub, and that's pretty much it. The above picture of the cat in the tree really shows the difference.
I need to setup one of those night motion cameras one of these days. We get skunks, coons, deer, cats, and, now I'm wondering how big. Someone south of us, Danville, had a 30 pound mountain cub in their backyard. Cops darted and took it. That's twice the size of my cat. Cats are pretty amazing in that they temper their 'play' to the thickness of our skin, and, if I yell "Owww!" she pulls in the claws, and bites with less force. |
