Interarms Whitworth

Found a new Interarms Whitworth made in England in 22-250. Would it be an accurate rifle.

They were not made in England, but they are great rifles.

They are commercial mausers designedafter the 98, and although not made in England, selected rifles are sent to England to be inspected , proofed, and then stamped Whitworth....
Very fine rifle,,, should be highly accurate.

If any specific rifle is 'accurate' or not depends on the quality of it's bedding, barrel, fit to the action, scope, stock and other factors.

Are just small groups wanted or is staying sighted in for where the first shot hits from a cold bore most important to you?

Where they made for Whitworth by some one else. Was cofused because England is stamped on the reciever and an oval Whitworth stamp. The stock on the gun is pretty plain.

They were made by Zastava in what was Yugoslavia and is now Serbia. The Whitworth versions were imported by Interarms, who had offices in England. There may have been some work done to them in England, but the actions were made in Serbia. They are a good solid rifle, with good accuracy potential if properly bedded.
