I have some Remington cases they are marked p+p on the bottom. What should I know about these cases before I use them for reloading. I know they were extra power from the factory , and I just want to load regular loads.

MM,
Are you certain that the marking isn't +P+ instead of P+P? +P+ means that the round (probably 9mm or .38 Spl.) has been loaded to higher than normal pressures. That means that the case is probably a bit heavier in construction, and also that it has been subject to considerably higher pressures. I normally don't reload any cases that are +P+ marked. |
