Scratches

I have a Browning BLR that has a few scratches on the stock in the gloss finish. The scratches are shallow and in the finish only. How would I go about removing them?

Plastic Polish

I have removed most of the light scratches by using a plastic polish. I have used Novus#2 but home depot or Menards, sells a plastic polish to be used on sink or vanity tops. Start out lightly and avoid any shart or pointed areas.
You will find that there will always be some that you will not be able to remove completely. That Browning finish is always bright and shiney but won't last long. ...

By the way, I also had to do this on my BLR, .22 ....

Be Safe !!!
