Famous Maker Scopes: Any good

I saw a Famous Maker Scope 10X42 in exc shape for $40. Is this a good deal? Are they good scopes? I haven't heard much about them. Thanks for all the info.

I had a red dot sight from them... It would refuse to hold a zero on my RRA M-4gery....FWIW....

Cheap junk ! Only good thing about them is for the people who sell them. It does disprove the old adage that you get what you pay for because in this case you get way less. Had friend who had their scope and it did not last one range session. We did have a good laugh over it or at least I did.

Don't fool with cheap scopes because you get what you pay for. Been there, done that. A good scope is not a cost,,,,it's an investment.
Save your money & put it in a scope that'll last a lifetime.
