Thread Closures
Ok I have asked several staff members to close several of my threads because they are either no longer receiving posts, or have gone off topic, and I have allowed sufficient time I believe for them to do so, yet they aren't closed. Are we allowed to request our threads be closed on a regular basis? If so the threads in question are;
Elephant!? The Sovereign Nation of Glock 31 osama hide and seek, Cops in California Backup plan And my "Bushmaster Q&A" got a post saying it was closed per my request but it's status icon still appears as if it is an open thread. If I could get these taken care of I would REALLY appreciate it. If it is not a common thing to request the closure of threads then someone let me know so I can stop complaining about. P.S. Close this one if it's no big deal. |

As XavierBreath said, asking to have threads closed (that aren't controversial, that is) is not a common thing. In fact, it's very uncommon; you're the first member to request them on a regular basis that I recall. It's certainly no real problem to close them, but it isn't at all necessary.
So you can stop complaining about them, sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. (If you look out the port side windows, the Grand Canyon is just coming into view.) [Added a little later] Glock 31, after reading quite a few of your posts, I have to ask that you read or re-read the Forum Rules that you agreed to when you joined. Pay close attention to rule #2. |
