Rebore muzzleloading barrel?

Anyone know of a smith that would rebore a .32 cal barrel to .40 cal? It's a flint Dixie squirrel rifle with a rough bore.

Might be cheaper to just rebarrel the rifle with a quality barrel,Green Mtn,Badger ect.keep the old barrel if the rifle has some significant provenance.
You will most likely have to contact a barrel maker and ask them.Lots of B/P barrels out there that were made with metals not suitable by todays standards for any kind shooting. Most gunsmiths do not have have the equipment to rebore barrels, very expensive.Do a "Google Search" and you will find barrel makers that might be able to help you.

Contact John Taylor in Toledo, Washington http://www.johntaylormachine.com/
He's a muzzleloader himself & does some reboring/relining.

Ed Rayl is very well known among long rifle builders for his excellent reboring work on muzzle loader barrels.
His phone number is 304-364-8269.
It used to cost about $100 to rebore and re-rifle a barrel.
Just call him for details.
