600 bucks

Sold some old sports equipment and made 600 bucks. This is how I spent it, new Savage edge in 30-06 (no scope,22 inch barrel, matte polymer stock, boxed magazine,no accu-trigger)$299. Ruger 22-45, new (5 and a half inch bull barrel, adjustable sights) $299. Whatcha think bout my "recession" spending spree? could you have done better? Let me know lol.

Yes by all means stimulate the economy. First thing you shoud do is get an aftermarket trigger for the Savage.

Good idea, I wonder if anyone has an adjustable trigger out for the Savage Edge yet?? My cousin is selling me, for $100 bucks, a lightly used Leupold 3x9x40.I am going to put it on, but cant remember if the rifle comes with mounts and rings.

That 22/45 is about as much fun as you can have. That Savage should do everything you need it to. Good job.
