I understand now!

My mother, had a great deal of range time with a classic Colt SAA (A government presentation model) with her first husband. As I was growing up, she always raved about how smooth and great a gun it was..

Well I got some range time in with a Taurus-Heritage Single Action Guacho (.45LC) at the recent shootersshow.

And I now understand all that she talked about, It was the most unique shooting experience I have ever had. I now know why Cowboy Action is an entirely different plain of existance with firearms.

I now plan on a single action revolver sometime in my life

I don't know if that is an intentional pun or a spellcheck error, but it's without a doubt the best description of CAS I've ever seen.
