BSA Optics

I received a BSA Platinum Series 8-32x44 mil-dot scope as a gift from a close freind. Im hoping for some insight on the quality of these products. Some people swear by these scopes and have seen this exact scope mounted on a Springfeild M1A and give no trouble on accuracy to a freind of mine, however I have never used one mounted on a rifle.
