Slo-mo flintlock

I apologize if you've seen this before, but I just discovered it and think it's pretty neat. It's only 53 seconds, but I found it to be pretty interesting.
It's a flintlock musket firing at an armored breast plate strapped to a dummy.

1) Very cool!
2) I'm guessing most flintlock users of yore didn't have much facial hair, including eyebrows or lashes.
Thanks for posting.

That lock needs some work. It doesn't throw nearly enough sparks. The pan charge should have gone off before the frizzen opened fully.

I have NEVER seen any flintlock fire the pan before the frizzen was completely open.

what a great demo !!!

Beagle,
That was awesome and you always seen to come up with some Gems. I plan on going back and study it some more. The lock is an early design. Wish I could see more. I found it interesting to see the blow-back out of the touch-hole. ...

As usual, Thanks and;
Be Safe !!!

I love a flint's lock's rifle or pistol. Anything that makes a rock shoot off a gun is cool!
