Have three Moultrie I-45S units that have the capability.....after pricing the monthly service charges and costs per photo to download from their server, decided not to use it.

I have looked into 3 or 4 different models now. Same thing. The costs are unreasonable if you live within 100 miles of your property where you wish to watch the results.

I need several game cameras (that’s correct—several). These must transmit while recording to a cell phone. The cell phone capability is for the range of transmission. The instant transmission is for the bubba who shoots one.
I’ve already browsed the internet. It seems that a mounting will cost about $50 and a camera with transmitter will run about $300, for the type and quality of what I need. Does this pricing seem to be correct? However, that bit about a “company server” doesn’t sound good, especially that I need many more than just one. Are there any which will act like a regular cell phone? What I’m seeking here is information from those who now have game cameras and their appraisal of those cameras now in use. Brand name and model, please. If you have the camera but not the transmission capability do you know if it can have the transmitter installed? Thanks for any help, Clay
