sling swivel problem
I have a synthetic stock and my sling swivel stud got ripped/pulled out. So it reamed the whole out a little. what would be the best fix for this problem? can I still some how get a stud to stay in the same whole?

I fixed a similar problem with two part epoxy. I mixed it up and poured it into the hole. This particular hole was large enough that it made a big "plug". Then, I just redrilled the hole for the screw.

Front or rear? Type of stock? Most of the cheaper factory synthetics are hollow on the forend. You can buy swivels that are long enough to go all the way through and put a nut on the inside. That along with a small washer to cover the larger hole might work. With stainless swivels the washer wouldn't look bad. It could be painted black to match if not.

Just an add on to Doyle's note...if you go the 2 part epoxy route I've had very good luck with the J-B Weld product. The long setting stuff, not the J-B weld quick setting stuff. (Although the quick set stuff might be fine too, I just haven't used it as much.)
