Martin Pegler's book, Sharpshooting Rifles of the Civil War

Anybody else have this book? If so, look at Martin's telescope rifle on pages 72-3. Never mind that the trigger is missing (that could be carelessness by the photo editor/book designer), but study the hammer. It's all the way near the rear of the lock plate. Where does the sear go?

Mystery solved!

It is a normal lock and the photo editor moved the hammer to the rear and inadvertantly deleted the trigger.
