Fed223

Is Federal American-Eagle 223 brass good to reload?

NO. Well--- maybe. Most will say that the primer pocket gets loose after the first reload at entirely safe pressures. On another forum, a shooter was having that problem with federal .223 empties. He sectioned a couple lengthwise, as well as one WW and one REM empty. The federals were quite a bit thinner in the case head area. You could SEE why the primer pockets were geting too big to hold a primer, there's not a lot of meat where it should be.

If I get brass from one of the online houses, it better NOT have any federal brass in it. It gets tossed as soon as I see it!

They're going to get their butts kicked over there this election. How come people can't spell and use words correctly?
