loooking for 308 range ammo
can anyone recommend a web site to buy inexpensive range ammo for my m1a scout (308 cal). I want 1000 rounds just for range shooting. it can be military surplus but I dont want any junk ammo. thanks

www.ammoman.com has been mentioned in the past, they have lots of 7.62x51mm / .308 ammunition, at different price levels.

I went by the local Ganders today and they had ammo cans on a pallet of Indian .308 for 79.00 for 460.....

blue six thanks for the info. It looks like lake city has the type I was looking for. Plus the ammo is shipped free. Sounds like a good deal. My m1a is on the way asa well. Happy hunting.
