Headstamps

Howdy.
I've got a few headstamps in my ammo collection that I'm not sure about and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one on here with the same problem (and if I am that just means lots of help). So I'm creating this thread to help myself and others get some help with headstamp ID.
My 4 that I can remember off the top of my head:
1. REM-UMC. Remington definitly but what does the UMC stand for?
2. *-*. No ideas whatsoever. Is on a 9mm WinMag Case.
3. ODL 05. On a .50 BMG Blank. Made by ODL in 2005? Who is ODL?
4. G.F.L. Once again no ideas. On a .455 Webley Mk 2 Round.
And can anyone enlighten me as to the numbers on USSR and CHICOM ammo.
I understand that one is the factory where it was made and one is the year of manufacture but which is which? Is there a way to tell which is which on "mirrored" numbers eg Is it 06 on top, 61 on bottom or 19 on top, 90 on bottom. Is there a list of factories somewhere online?

Remington and Union Metallic merged a LONG time ago.

*-* is Starline, which makes good brass.

ODL? No clue. None of my references has that mark.

GFL is Guillio Fiocchi of Lecco, Italy.

ODL is Ordnance Developments Ltd, Wanganui New Zealand.

Thanks for your help guys. I’m going through my collection trying to ID my headstamps. Some are obvious (The one that says “Winchester” I would hazard a guess at being Winchester brass), some aren’t. Found a few more last night that I’m not sure of.
1.W-W, W-W Super, WRA, WRA Co, and Winchester are all Winchester Repeating Arms. Correct?
2.Anyone want to hazard a guess as to age of Rem-UMC headstamps? One is on a .32 Auto and one is on a .32 Short Colt.
3.MEN-85 Headstamp on a 7.62x51 Milsurp. Any idea which arsenal?
4.I have a spent .30-06 round headstamped “Dominion”. I understand it is made by CIL in Canada. The interesting thing about it is it’s black. There is no sign of brass whatsoever. Is this normal for all their ammo or was this a special run?
5.And finally (I have no idea on this one). Can’t explain it so I drew it below. Its on a 6.5x55 round.

Just so I'm not only asking questions. If anyone has any headstamps marked CAC they are from Colonial Ammunition Company in NZ. Prob most common headstamp for .303 here.

I had a bunch of MEN-85 ammo once that I bought in bulk for a Springfield M1(M-14 clone). Sold it earlier this year as I had nothing in 308 and there was a shortage for 308 creating a demand. All I can tell you right off the top of my head is that it is German NATO ammo and I am sure that MEN code is just some German arsenal that someone will reenlighten me on. Probably knew what it was 10 years ago.

Don't y'all know about the men's ammo factory? It's the greatest thing ever, free beer und wurst nightly and the loading machinery have TV screens showing fusball when everything is running as it should.

Those germans know how to live.

(it's really Metallwerk Elisenhütte G.m.b.H., Nassau, Lahn, Germany, no free beer as far as I know)

Hmm, I have an 06 round stamped Sears.. Maybe not too unusual but it is to me.

Speaking of headstamps, anyone see that Ace Ventura movie where he gets punched in the head so he can count the diamonds in a class ring??
