Adjustments for bushy 2stage

Gentlemen:
Sometimes when I ease off the trigger on my AR15 it fires a round. This usually happens when I am at the bench practicing my follow through, regardless of where I set the over travel set screw. Am I correct to assume the disconnector needs to hold the hammer longer while trigger shoulder moves into position on the hammer notch? To achieve this should I file the heal of the front flat of the disconnecter (opposite the disconnector spring) to allow it to pivot more forward? Thanks in advace for your help.

Yes.

I would call Bushmaster on that to be sure.

Could be that a simple adjustment of the engagement screw (if it has one) would do the job. I doubt that the overtravel screw has anything to do with your problem.
