I'm having a problem with my media that I've never seen anyone mention in forums before. I have some super-fine powder that has contaminated my corn cob media, and now it's getting everywhere. I assume it's very fine clay from the range that has dissolved into the media, or something. It's very annoying!

Not sure what it goes for at the pet supply store but I get crushed walnut at Harbor Freight for about $20 for 25lbs. Goes on sale often and I usually have a discount coupon besides. Works really well with a shot of polish in it.
I'm lucky enough to have a store about 10 miles from me. http://www.harborfreight.com/25-lbs-...dia-92150.html http://www.harborfreight.com/25-lbs-...dia-92155.html

Ditto to harbor freight with walnut shells. I use it with a little cob thrown in from Walmart
