Quiet Barrels?
I think of suppressors normally being an attachment to a barrel. Would a complete, one piece barrel, built from the ground up to be quiet still be an NFA item? It would not be an attachment.

Yes it would, and they are readily available from companies like LRM and Advanced Armament.

Does anyone know if there's a silencer or a suppressor that will fit a Ruger P-89 (9mm)?

Waverunner, first-off, dont post the same question in more than one thread. That is like spamming. To answer your question, any 9mm suppressor will work on your weapon provided you can find a way to get an extended barrel and thread it or have an adapter made.
