I recently located some new magazines from Interarms for a Star Model B, the Spanish 1911 clone in 9mm. But the hole in the magazine which catches inside of the grip is located just slightly too high, and the mag won't lock securely. Am considering some surgery on mag with a Dremel cut-off wheel. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Also, anybody know when s/n 483520 would have been manufactured? ------------------ Bill DePaulo 304-541-1984 [email protected] [This message has been edited by abruzzi (edited April 25, 1999).] |

You say "some" magazines. I suggest maybe modify one to see if that works. Factories where hand fitting is common often fit mags to guns in just this manner, but sell unmodified ones as spares. Are you using these in the Star, or in another gun? Remember, this type of modification is permanent.
