some times guns save lives with out shooting any one
here is a story my mother in-law told me about. She told me that the family was lucky that the guy had a gun on him.

Shot placement is everything! I would rather take a round of 50BMG to the foot than a 22short to the base of the skull. all 26 of my guns are 45/70 govt, 357 mag, 22 or 12 ga... I believe in keeping it simple. Wish my wife did as well... |

Good for everyone
Good that all survived a desperate situation. A plus to this story is the police officer's action. Many times we read or hear of police officers involved in shady dealings or downright abuse of their authority. This is a counterpoint to the few officers that do not deserve to serve in law enforcement and the many that daily risk their lives to help the public.
