Rob Leahy's Simply Rugged Holsters
Does anyone have any personal experience with Simply Rugged Holsters? I'm in the market for a good quality leather belt holster for a couple of my Smith wheelguns, for hunting and general packin'. Leahy's Sourdough Pancake, with the third belt slot for crossdraw carry, looks like it might be just the ticket, and at $40 it seems like a real bargain.
Jeff Quinn at Gunblast.com Wrote a pretty nice endorsement of the holster in his test report on the Smith & Wesson Model 25 .45 Colt Mountain Gun. While Mr. Quinn strikes me as a bit more objective with his reviews than the typical gunzine writer, I'm always skeptical about the veracity of glowing product reports. So, if anyone here has any input on Leahy's holsters, I's sure like to hear about it. Thanks, OutAtTheEdge
