What size bore snake for Mosin . . . ?

What size bore snake do you use for your Mosin Nagant. Save for my Mosin all my rifles are small bore or shotguns so none of my bore snakes work well in my Mosin.

Help!

Whatever size you decide on, do yourself a BIG favor - get a length of paracord or similar and tie it to the back loop. That way, when the boresnake is completely inside the bore and that pull string breaks off (and it's only a question of when, not if), you'll be able to remove the snake from the bore. This is really crucial with small bores like 22 and 24.

Good advice . . .

Thanks FIT. That is really good advice. Just today I noticed that the pull cord on my 22 snake is looking a little thin where it attaches to the snake.

I use a .30 cal bore snake on my Mosin and Winchester. This is the one I have been using https://www.amazon.com/Nuoya001-Clea...cal+bore+snake
