Stupid question, but is the Apex kit as durable/reliable as the factory kit?

It certainly seems to be, if not more so. It's a replacement seat with a different(better) angle, and a replacement firing pin block plunger that is rounded instead of squared off like the factory one. That's where most of the gritty crunchy take up in the trigger comes from. It's also 1lb lighter sear and firing pin block springs... that's really all it is. Nothing to fail. You can basically make the same thing out of the factory parts if you are good enough with hand tools... I'd rather just buy their kit and drop it in. That way I have the factory parts to put back for whatever reason.
