new england arms .410,any good?

My wifes gpa died and I now aquired his .410.single shot .410 marlin new england arms.is it any good?

I've taken more rabbit and squirrels in FL with a NEF 410 than I can begin to count. Never a problem..

I've owned NEF and H&R 12ga, 16g, 20ga, and 410 bore shotties. Plus I have a mess load of centerfire rifles of the make. Not one problem..

They aren't some fine shotgun, and if you dont got hotrodding some shells one should last you many years.

They are good utility guns.

Just don't try to take the trigger group apart, you will need a gunsmith to get it back together.
