Howdy!
When Gramps passed I got his Mod.94 which I cherish. It's #401,670 and the magazine has been cut down(he dropped it from horseback and dented it). I'd like to know how old my gun is, and if its feasible to replace the mag. Thanks!

Hi, buckskinner,

The rifle was made in 1907. Some magazine tubes are available. Get the length of the tube as well as you can guess as to what it should be. Gun Parts has them in 23 3/8" and 25 1/4 inches, and also the plug, spring, and plug screw.
