Mosin 91/30 baseplate opens on recoil

I took my new Mosin out and the mag holds the rounds in fine when not firing, but the recoil opens the mag catch on the baseplate. Nothing looks like it is out of sorts. Any ideas?

If you take the magazine assembly out of the stock, there is a screw that holds the magazine catch on and puts tension on it. This screw is on the rear of the magazine just above the trigger guard. Make sure it's tight.
