GSG 1911-22 (ATI/Sig)
I am not sure if this is the right forum, but I am wondering if someone can help me with removing/changing the front sights on the pistol. It comes with two additional sites. The manual says to turn the screw in the front site counter clockwise. It comes with a small tool kit that has three allen wrenchs. The two larger ones are too big for the hole. The smaller one fits into the hole, but I have turned and turned and turned that allen wrench and it doesn't seem to be loosening the screw. I think it's actually too small. Do anyone know what size screw driver or allen wrench I should be using. The screw is sticking up on the extra sites, but I have never seen a screw like this. It isn't like it has a hex head or a phillips or flat head.
Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated. |

GSG 1911
Except for small, mostly cosmetic, differences the GSG-1911-22 and the SIG-1911-22 are the same gun. Contact the importer for more info. The screw in the front sight is a small metric hex head (we used to call them Allen screws). You may not be getting the wrench all the way into the screw body, have you tried the fit on another sight or the the screw hole may be stripped, it's steel on plastic after all.
ATI's # 1-800-290-0065 I don't have one for SIG, Google is your friend. |

I have the exact same gun. The Allen wrench fits the whole you just have to make sure that it seats correctly.
